Women and girls with disabilities have the right to take part in all areas of life, including in politics, work,
education and in the community. However, in Uganda, women with disabilities are often excluded from
meaningful participation and leadership opportunities. WODNET’S projects, programmes and actions
aim at addressing exclusion and advocate for strategies to increase the meaningful participation of
women and girls with disabilities in Australian society.
