Women and girls with disabilities have the right to be free from all forms of violence in all
settings, including at home, in schools, healthcare settings, workplaces and the community.
However, women and girls with disabilities in Uganda continue to experience high rates of all
forms of violence. WODNET’s projects, programmes and actions aim at supporting the right to
be safe from all forms of violence, abuse, exploitation and neglect.
